About Us

United World NationUnited World Nation (UWN)

The mission of the UWN is to make films that make a difference, to promote peace and tolerance, and inspire positive change.
Our aim is furthermore to inspire the development of sustainable solutions for issues in societies that cause tension and conflict, uniting people and building a better and safer world.
We promote personal development and aim to inspire people to achieve great goals and lead successful, fulfilling and meaningful lives.

People can join the UWN as members. Members enjoy unique benefits and have opportunities to participate in interesting projects.

We have created two themes/categories of films that we make. The one we named Citizens of Earth and the other #GETPeaceProject.

Citizens of Earth films are documentary films about people. #GETPeaceProject films are documentary films to inspire positive change (read more about the #GETPeaceProject below...)

Our Approach

#GETPeaceProjectThe #GETPeaceProject

GET Peace is the acronym for a project to Get Earth Together.

We make films that make a difference, promote peace and tolerance, and inspire positive change.

The #GETPeaceProject is a United World Nation film category.  How about existing as a united one world nation where: we live together in peace and harmony and mutual respect as citizens of earth; nature is our mother; technology is our today and our future; information is public domain; knowledge and wisdom are our teachers; superior healthcare and education is a right; and individuals’ talents are treasures.

The Story

The project was inspired by Lina Kantor (a Holocaust survivor) who Johnathan Andrews, the founder of the UWN initiative, met in 2017.

"Spending time with her (listening to her story and getting up-close to the horrors that millions of Jews faced during World War II) lead Johnathan to conceive the UWN as his contribution to humanity. Peace, tolerance, understanding, insight, mutual respect, to name a few.

There is so much conflict in our world today and a lot of it has its roots in people being divided. My decision to dedicate focused time, as a first phase in the establishment of the UWN, on creating #GETPeaceProject content (documentary films, photo essays and articles) and sharing the information with people on a large scale (on this blog, social media, books and talks) is aimed at having a positive impact on those who lead people, and the voices of the masses as well."

The #GETPeaceProject is the first campaign of the UWN initiative.

"Super Humans are people who despite the most extreme limitations, hardships and disadvantages manage to rise above their situation and achieve their goals." - Johnathan Andrews

The UWN has created the Super Humans Award. It is an award that the UWN bestows to recognize people who accomplish incredible things despite extreme difficulty.

UWN members may nominate persons to receive the award. Nominations are considered by the UWN on an ongoing basis and an award may be bestowed upon a person at any time.
